Salo-Salo: A Gathering of Filipinx Creatives & Entrepreneurs

Wednesday, August 20, 2025  at 6:30PM (CDT) | 📍Tito Boy Restaurant, 730 St. Anne’s Road, Winnipeg

A collaboration with Cambio & Co. X Manitoba Filipino Business Council X Kultivation

Join us for a Salo-Salo where we’ll explore: What does it mean to build a business that’s rooted in your identity as a Filipinx/a/o — and not someone else’s blueprint?

How do you scale while staying true to who you are, where you come from, and the community you serve?

We’re bringing together a circle of Filipinx creatives, entrepreneurs, and founders for an intimate evening of kuwentuhan, kapwa, and shared wisdom — over Filipino drinks, appetizers, and good company.

This isn’t a panel or stuffy networking mixer. This is a salo-salo — a shared table and casual gathering for folks to meet, connect, and share kwento about our highs, lows, and dreams for our businesses, organizations, and the Filipinx community.

Learning From The Land, Dreaming Where We Are: A Dinner & Kwentuhan

Thursday, August 21, 2025  at 6PM (CDT) | 📍Masagana Flower Farm & Studio, La Broquerie, Manitoba

A collaboration with Cambio & Co. X Masagana Flower Farm X Chef Andre Mejia of @Dre.Eats X Monica Batac
A floral Filipino dinner filled with kapwa, kwento & thoughtful conversation for the Filipino diaspora.
Set on the stunning Masagana Flower Farm, surrounded by prairie blooms and the spirit of our motherland, we’ll gather over a thoughtfully curated dinner prepared by Filipino Canadian Chef Dre Mejia, where every bite is a love letter and exploration of home.

Over food and flowers, this event centres kwentuhan, encouraging honest and open conversation co-facilitated by Cambio's Co-Founder Gelaine Santiago. Together, we’ll explore the journeys that led us here, the doubts that may be holding us back, and the dreams waiting to take root for ourselves, our families, and communities. Only 8 spots left!
