  • Wear Your Tribe. Wear With Pride.

This stunning Reversible Kapa captures the vibrant colours and patterns reminiscent of the many identities and cultural influences of the Philippines.

A structured, multi-wear piece that's easily dressed up or down, the Reversible Kapa brings together weaves from different regions of the Philippines. Wear it with the colourful pastel stripes of the Kantarines Weave facing outward for a vibrant statement, or have it peek through the patterned black and white geometrics of the Binakol Weave. You can also wear it with the slit facing upwards or downwards, changing its shape.

To craft each piece, weavers source scrap threads of cotton, which they upcycle and meticulously spin into yarn using traditional wooden looms. The process is long and arduous, but the result is a contemporary, zero-waste piece. Crafted with the story of Filipino heritage and indigenous craft, while minimizing impact on the earth.

    About the Kantarines Weave:
Carefully crafted by the master weavers of Bengued, Abra, this beautiful weave features iconic stripes of pastel greens, blues, greys, and pinks.

    About the Binakol Weave:
A traditional weave indigenous to the Ilokanos and Itnegs in the Cordilleras of the Philippines. It is woven in two colours to give the optical illusion of spiralling patterns to create a dizzying effect, believed to drive away bad spirits.
