About The Traditional Weave:
Binakol is a Filipino textile pattern native to the Ilocos and Abra provinces in the Philippines. Now widely adapted in local fashion, the optical illusion of this pattern was traditionally used to ward off evil spirits. Our Binakol is sourced ethically from the Saranay Group Association in Abra province in the Philippines.
