As with any gold plated jewelry, AMAMI jewelry may tarnish over time, giving them a more vintage look.

For better preservation, reduce exposure to sweat and perfume and store within an air tight container or our custom AMAMI pouch provided with your order. We recommend not to wear your piece under the shower.

Once your piece has aged, if you prefer the most vibrant look of gold, you may obtain gold replating service from your local jewelry shop.

AMAMI Gold Filigree Jewelry

AMAMI is the passionate vision of Christine Tiu and Danielle Tan, two childhood friends hailing from Manila. By collaborating with talented Filipino plateros in Ilocos, AMAMI hopes to revive our proud heritage of gold filigree jewelry, a pre-colonial technique existing long before the Spanish. The result are rare and precious heirloom pieces that provide sustainable livelihood to Filipino plateros, while carrying on the story of an endangered and intrinsically Filipino craft.
